24/7 helpdesk
Our 24/7 facilites helpdesk offers an around-the clock service to our campus users for any Estate and Facilities related issue and emergency. Supported by our onsite security and maintenance operatives 24/7 ensuring a swift and effective attendance to any incident or issues that arise.
Internal planting
Provision of a service for the supply and maintenance of internal plants to suit occupier needs.
Catering
Delivery of a staff catering service providing comfortable and social spaces for users to enjoy a variety of meal options and beverages. Hospitality service for South Campus users for meetings and training programmes.
Science support services
Provision of a number of support services including:
- Database of laboratory equipment including maintenance, validation planning and centralised recording.
- Management and consolidation of equipment maintenance contracts.
- In house first line maintenance support.
- Laboratory and hazardous waste services.

Nursery
Provision of an on-site nursery facility for use by parents of campus employees that offers hours aligned to working patterns at competitive market rates.
Maintenance
Day to day operational repairs and minor works within fully operational 'live' environments minimalising impact to our campus users, delivered to the highest quality and standards drawing on the skills, knowledge and expertise of the site based resources
Grounds
Maintenance and development of the external grounds for the enjoyment of campus users and visitors. Design and implementation of practices that enhance and support our sustainability strategy.
Asset management
A strategic approach to the management of assets from application of appropriate maintenance regimes to replacement. Working to ensure continuity of service to our science.
Security
24/7 onsite security service providing manned guarding to protect its assets and people. Reception and post room services. CCTV and alarm monitoring.
Green travel
Provision and management of a number of travel schemes and initiatives to encourage the use of more sustainable modes of transport for employees to commute to Campus. These include Campus Coach and Shuttlebus Service, Cycling facilities and events, dedicated Campus Liftshare platform and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Waste management services
An end to end waste management and advisory service to ensure the safe and compliant removal of non-laboratory waste and recycling from Campus.
From scheduled collections to ad-hoc requests and one-offs, our friendly Waste team will work alongside your teams and our expert suppliers to achieve our shared sustainability goals.
Our services include: - waste collections, waste stream segregation and processing, skip hire, confidential waste removal and disposal, supplier due diligence.
Cleaning
Internal cleaning services for building spaces, including waste removal, washrooms, offices, labs and communal areas, tailored to customer requirements. Internal and external window cleaning services. External car park and signage cleaning.
Property, Consultancy, Design and Management
End to end delivery for the construction of Lab refurbishments and major layout changes. Lifecycle renewal of building services equipment and fabric elements. Feasibility studies, surveys, and technical advice for any projects that impact building fabric. Design and Contract management for the delivery of construction projects.
